Alaska Highway

The Alaskan Highway, also known as ALCAN is the 1,387 mile long road that connects the contiguous United States to Alaska through Canada. It was opened to the public in 1948 and runs through many historic mileposts, Delta Junction, at the end of the highway, through to Fairbanks.
