The Audubon Rowe Sanctuary is a conservation area based in the Platte Valley ecosystem, known for its sandhill crane populations. The site also houses the Ian Nicolson Audubon Center, an outdoor experience-based education centre and the 2nd largest straw bale-constructed building in the United States.
