From its opening in 1940, California State Indian Museum has been dedicated to three major themes of Indian life: nature, spirit, and family. Visitors can enjoy the hand-crafted baskets, intricate beadwork and other artifacts, centuries-old tools, and other exhibits and multimedia displays.
