Cliffs of the Neuse State Park

The land that is now part of the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park was used by Native Americans for centuries and was the original construction site of the Confederate ironclad C.S.S. Neuse. The modern park offers an 11-acre swimming lake, five hiking trails, and a 35-site campground.
