The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area is 85 miles long and covering 292,500 acres. Hiking, biking, and horseback riding are popular within the park, especially to see the 620-foot Multnomah Falls, the highest year round waterfall in the United States, 800 species of wildflowers, and 200 species of birds.
