Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center

The original fort that is the focus of the Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center was active for over two centuries. Exhibits at the center cover the lives of Civil War soldiers, pre-Civil War life in Clarksville, and the emancipation of slaves living in the Clarksville area.
