The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is a free 127-acre garden that includes the Barkman Vegetable Garden, the Watnong Rock Garden, the Vera Scherer Special Needs Garden, and the Branching Out Garden. Among things that visitors see at the arboretum are fountains, gazebos, woodlands, open fields, and groves of flowering trees.
