Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site

Visitors can tour the nine-room Gothic-style house where General John J. Pershing lived for several years beginning when he was six years old. Visitors can also tour the Prairie Mound School where Pershing taught, and see the exhibits in it explaining more about Pershing's military accomplish.
