The 400-acre Grand Gulf Military Park contains Fort Cobun, Fort Wade, the colored infantry Grand Gulf Cemetery, a museum containing a mastodon bone, a carriage house containing a Civil War Museum, a 1790s Spanish house, and other buildings. Visitors can camp, picnic, hike, and climb an observation tower.
