Covering 100 acres, the Historic Natchez Cemetery was established in 1822 and is the final resting place of the first mayor of Natchez. It has many interesting marble monuments, creative iron fences, and artistically sculptured inscriptions, all depicting the traditions of the pre-Civil War era.
