Constructed in 1850, the Historic Washington House was a German immigrants hotel with most of the occupants working at the nearby sawmills. Known as the birthplace of the ice cream sundae, the museum serves over 18 different flavors, and visitors can tour 10 rooms with historic displays of early businesses.
