At over 503,000 acres, Little Missouri National Grasslands is the largest grassland project in the country managed by the United States National Forest Service under the Dakota Prairie Grasslands Project. In the Missouri Grasslands, people can hike, camp, ride horse, shoot photographs, hunt, canoe, and backpack.
