Split into two separate fields, the 32,000 square foot Norman Swanner Dog Park is a favorite among local pet owners. The park features fenced in green grass areas, drinking water, walking trails and waste stations.
Very nice park with good shade providing gazebo type covers for the hot days. There are supplies usually there for cleaning up doggie-dumps. I have met some nice folks there, and the two good sized, fence dividing areas are good for keeping the large and smaller dogs separate. One thing to note is that dogs are not supposed to be on the actual walking trail itself, and they ask that someone monitor dogs in the park at all times.
