The most famous exhibit at the Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is the USS Yorktown, an American aircraft carrier used during the Second World War. The museum also contains smaller vessels, weapons, uniforms, historic maps, documents and other ephemera.
My husband and I visited and loved it. There is so much History here. We will be going back. The only downfall, is that it is not completely handicap friendly. My husband walks with a cane and has many medical problems. He was able to make it through everything, however, some of the ramps and stairs took a lot out of him. Now that we know what we will have to deal with, the next trip, we will be prepared. Other than this issue, it is an awesome place to visit. I would highly recommend this Historical site.
