Made of white/gray Tuscarora quartzite, the peak of Seneca Rocks is only accessible by skilled technical rock climbers. The Seneca Rocks State Forest is located within the Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area that offers a discovery center and other climbs, and is part of the larger Monongahela National Forest
