Constructed for the 1982 World's Fair, the Sunsphere Tower in Knoxville stands 266-feet high with a 75-foot diameter sphere on top. Guests are treated to a 360-degree view of the city from the observation levels, and a full-service restaurant is available for diners.
This was a fun free little stop when we were in Knoxville. There was also a free splash pad not far from the Sun Sphere.
