The four-acre Tu-Endie-Wei State Park was established as a memorial to the war that occurred on this site in 1774, and contains an 84-foot granite obelisk, along with smaller memorial tablets. The park also contains the 1794 hewn log house, one of the oldest in the Kanawha Valley.
