WVU Jackson's Mill Farmstead

Colonel Edward Jackson developed the Stonewall Mill area, and adopted Tom and his sister Laura before the Civil War, but during the Civil War, Tom became known as General Stonewall, while his sister aided Union troops using her home as a hospital. The Extension Service maintains the area.
